Certifications

Certification examinations for digital platforms were designed to assess the Marketers’ knowledge of best practices (Google third-party policy) regarding online advertising. These exams must be regularly taken and passed in order to be recognized as an approved Marketing Specialist.

The AdWords certification exams were designed to assess the Marketers’ knowledge of the principles of online advertising, from basic to advanced levels. They notably cover the topics of value proposals for online advertising, campaign setup and management, performance evaluation, and optimization.

The Analytics certification exam is an individual test (Analytics Individual Qualification or Analytics IQ). It validates the Marketer’s understanding of the basic principles of digital analysis and of Google Analytics. It is displayed on the Google Partners public profile page.

The title of Google Analytics Certified Partner (GACP) is awarded to a service company that meets a certain number of strict criteria. Only the companies listed on the approved Analytics Partners page are recognized.

The DoubleClick certification exams refer to the Media Programmatic interface.

The Facebook Blueprint certification exam guarantees the highest level of mastery of the design, planning and optimization tools used in Facebook advertising as well as the knowledge of the recommended practices guaranteeing the best results.

Adwords

The Google Adwords certification is a series of reviews offered by Google. It proves the good knowledge of the best practices methods when managing AdWords accounts. The first exam required to be certified is the “Basic”. Five additional exams will confirm the expertise in Display, Video, Shopping, Mobile and Analytics.

Google Analytics

The Google Analytics certification or GAIQ for Google Analytics Individual Qualification is a competency certification in the implementation and use of the Google Analytics solution. The exam lasts 90 minutes, is composed of 70 questions, and the candidate will need at least a score of 80% to pass the exam.

Bing

The Bing Ads certification is an exam offered by Microsoft for its online advertising platform. Like the Google Adwords certification, it attests skills in setting up and optimizing advertising campaigns and proper budgeting.

Blueprint Certification is Facebook’s credentialing program for digital advertising professionals who demonstrate advanced proficiency in Facebook marketing. The Facebook Certified Buying Professional credential is awarded to digital advertising professionals who are proficient in creating and buying Facebook advertising for maximum campaign impact.

DCM Exam

This exam is about the basic principes of DoubleClick Campaign Manager and certifies a good traffic management, a correct placement of ads and the competente for technical creations. The exam consists of 30 questions. The minimum score required to pass the exam is 80%.

DS Exam

This exam is about the basic principes of the DoubleClick Search interface. It certifies campaign management skills for all search engines, as well as the creation of reporting and bid strategies. The minimum score required to pass the exam is 80%.

DBM True View

This exam is about the basic principes of DoubleClick Bid Manager TrueView. This certification guarantees a good knowledge of TrueView tools (supported by YouTube, to identify the customer’s specific needs). The exam consists of 30 questions. The minimum score required to pass the exam is 80%.

DBM Mobile

This exam is about the basic principes of DoubleClick Bid Manager Mobile. It certifies an expertise in creating, managing and optimising mobile campaigns using Bid Manager. The exam consists of 30 questions. The minimum score required to pass the exam is 80%.
