On February 7th, our blue2purple team from Brussels and from Madagascar offered starter kits, composed by different materials, and blackboards to malagasy’s students. They came to EPP manarintsoa Isotry, a school in Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar.
Antananarivo is a UNESCO’s world Heritage Site that experienced multiple religion rebounds. Overhung by a palace, it is surrounded by twelve sacred hills. It’s a wonderful place to discover but unfortunately, there is a missing face. Most children in Antananarivo are growing up in impoverished families. Some of them don’t even have access to education.
With these starter kits and blackboards, blue2purple offered a meaningful gift to 135 students that will have a positive impact on their day-to-day life. We wanted to give them the opportunity to empower themselves, share their knowledge and give them a little boost to help them learn in an appropriate way.
